Raytheon: Iron man suit- XOS 2

Raytheon's robotic technology for military is more efficient than previous generation XOS-1, less 50 percent  power.

XOS-2 is an exoskeleton suit powered by high pressure hydraulic.
Operator can lift 2000lb easily without feeling tired.
XOS-2 is comprised of sensor, actuator, and controller, which help operator to use with his will, to achieve 24 DOF(Degree of Freedom)

Raytheon points out the Key technology on robotics:
  • servo-valve
  • actuator (hydraulic, pneumatic, electric)
  • control and sensor network
  • MEMS (strain, rotation, multi axis strain)
It's a fantastic weapon.
If it's leg can help man to run as fast as car, it would very powerful.

Raytheon is specialist in electric and missile.
In 2007 Raytheon purchase Sarcos  and reinforce  robotic research.
